In the summer of 2018 I was given one of the best opportunities of my life, interning in the sports department of the station I grew up watching.

With this position I was able to learn from some of the best in the business and really take advantage of my last hands-on internship experience. Being able to work in a New York newsroom allowed me to see the difference between smaller local station and the number 1 market in the country. I was given tasks as small as logging football and baseball games, to as large as interviewing Greg Bird in the Yankee clubhouse. I felt that because I have had so many experiences I was able to learn and grow as a reporter and no longer a student intern.

I can honestly say I feel this internship has prepared me for my first on- air job!
